Our Purpose
Empowering Teachers
We develop relevant, comprehensive resource kits with all the materials needed to carry out engaging science lessons. The bilingual kits are delivered to schools using a subscription based library system.
Our Vision
Raising Scientific Literacy
We aim to see every child in New Zealand become scientifically literate. This means they have a clear understanding of science concepts and processes encountered in their daily lives. Improving scientific literacy will have a huge economic and social benefit to New Zealand.
Critical Thinking Skills
Science teaches us how to gather and interpret information, and to make informed decisions. A key skill in light of the prolific ‘fake news’ on all media platforms.
Economic Prosperity
Our future economy depends on advancements in clean technology, automation and digital innovation. A scientifically literate workforce will have the skills to embrace this future of work.
Health & Wellbeing
Science enables us as individuals to make informed decisions about diet, exercise and medical treatments. These choices directly impact our personal health and wellbeing and that of our families.

Great hands on and informative activities that covered many science concepts. Helpful teachers manual. The students thoroughly enjoyed it and it was suitable for diversity in learning abilities.

Students found the kit engaging and fun, especially the eDNA. The kit is also helpful to teachers who lack the confidence to teach science – it makes it easy for teachers to teach the concepts.

This kit was amazing! The students particularly loved the activity of investigating the white powder – it was the most engaging activity. All the students enjoyed it and it made them feel like forensic scientists. The teacher manual was also super helpful. I liked that there were many student packs available as well as the binded booklets (I gave out one per group).

We absolutly loved using the Space Out Science Kit. The students really enjoyed the activities and learning opportunities available. As the teacher, I found it easy to follow through the lessons/activities and thought the kit was well resourced and set up – it was simple and fun!
