Our Purpose
Empowering Teachers
We develop relevant, comprehensive resource kits with all the materials needed to carry out engaging science lessons. The bilingual kits are delivered to schools using a subscription based library system.

Our Vision
Raising Scientific Literacy
We aim to see every child in New Zealand become scientifically literate. This means they have a clear understanding of science concepts and processes encountered in their daily lives. Improving scientific literacy will have a huge economic and social benefit to New Zealand.
Critical Thinking Skills
Science teaches us how to gather and interpret information, and to make informed decisions. A key skill in light of the prolific ‘fake news’ on all media platforms.
Economic Prosperity
Our future economy depends on advancements in clean technology, automation and digital innovation. A scientifically literate workforce will have the skills to embrace this future of work.
Health & Wellbeing
Science enables us as individuals to make informed decisions about diet, exercise and medical treatments. These choices directly impact our personal health and wellbeing and that of our families.
Our Values
Fostering Curiosity

Making It Count
We are here to make a positive difference in the lives of our children by helping teachers deliver great science lessons.
Empowering People
We create an environment where people can think big, have fun and contribute in a safe and inclusive way.
Being Curious
We ask questions and challenge the status quo in order to create a better tomorrow.

Some great hands on activities. We were able to deliver some of these activities well for our Special Needs students. The clay model earth, plaster of paris and gem identification in particular were ideal for us. Many thanks.

Great resource, but due to time restraints we did not get time to complete all the activities. I thoroughly enjoy using Te Reo intergrated with my students. The kupu Putaiao are brilliant, some are new to me, even though I am fluent, some of the new scientific words are unknown. Well done congratulations to the Reo interpreters

The kit as usual was so well thought out and easy to pick up and use. I love the information it gives to develop my own knowledge as the teacher so I can try and facilitate as meaningful of an experience as possible. All student information is really clear for them to follow, so they all get to have some independence as growing scientists!

My whole team of 6 classes shared the kit and rotated through the activities. This was our first time using a kit and I must say that we are extremely impressed!! The activities were highly engaging and allowed the children to easily understand the science and make links between what the did and the concept we were exploring. We also found the instructions for each activity to be very easy to follow.
