Our Purpose
Empowering Teachers
We develop relevant, comprehensive resource kits with all the materials needed to carry out engaging science lessons. The bilingual kits are delivered to schools using a subscription based library system.
Our Vision
Raising Scientific Literacy
We aim to see every child in New Zealand become scientifically literate. This means they have a clear understanding of science concepts and processes encountered in their daily lives. Improving scientific literacy will have a huge economic and social benefit to New Zealand.
Critical Thinking Skills
Science teaches us how to gather and interpret information, and to make informed decisions. A key skill in light of the prolific ‘fake news’ on all media platforms.
Economic Prosperity
Our future economy depends on advancements in clean technology, automation and digital innovation. A scientifically literate workforce will have the skills to embrace this future of work.
Health & Wellbeing
Science enables us as individuals to make informed decisions about diet, exercise and medical treatments. These choices directly impact our personal health and wellbeing and that of our families.

It was a great kit to do with a large number of classes coming through – I have it for another week and have two classes using it per day. I’m doing slightly different things for the younger kids – more discussion, wonderings and really honing in on developing their observational skills. The kids were really engaged with it – I was surprised that hardly any of them had seen a Jacob’s Ladder! That’s a classic toy I would’ve thought. Anyway, great stuff and thanks.

I love them, they are providing enough resources for all kids to use. The equipment is often well beyond our budget can afford and the students are engaged while working on an activity. There are some activities that our babies can do and then some which challenge the minds off ur bigger students. This kit was the most engaging for my boy heavy class, we had so much fun that we were able to entice other teachers within the kura to give it a go too. Conversations moved from wow look at how high that went to, wow we need a lot of force or thrust to get that high.
