May is Hutt STEMM festival month

This gets bigger and better every year!

Did you know… the Hutt’s science, technology, engineering, mathematics and manufacturing enterprises contribute more than $380 million to New Zealand’s economy, employ more than 3,500 people and support a Crown Research Institute, a government innovation precinct and four tertiary institutions.

This year the entire month of May is dedicated to STEMM, with some amazing events and workshops to stir your interest in all things STEMM. Click here to find out more

Curious Minds has an events page!

Discover what’s happening near you. There are opportunities to get involved in local research, competitions, awards, exhibitions, inspiring talks, roadshows and even festivals. My favourite one: ‘The New Zealand Tree Project’, An exhibition in the Waikato on until Feb 18th. You can filter by region and by event type. Click here for details.
