Symposium keynote speaker announced

The new Prime Minister Chief Science Advisor, Prof Juliet Gerrard, has accepted an invitation to speak at the House of Science annual symposium; a community event that celebrates science. This year’s theme is ‘It takes a village… to raise scientific literacy’ and we are delighted Prof Gerrard will be there to share her view on this crucial topic.

This gets bigger and better every year!

Did you know… the Hutt’s science, technology, engineering, mathematics and manufacturing enterprises contribute more than $380 million to New Zealand’s economy, employ more than 3,500 people and support a Crown Research Institute, a government innovation precinct and four tertiary institutions.
