The House of Science has a vision to raise scientific literacy in the local community. Our biennial symposium is a chance for the whole community to learn and network together.
Curious Citizens is the theme this year with a focus on citizen science: community-driven projects that engage people of all ages and abilities. We have a great line-up of prominent New Zealand scientists who will inspire delegates in keynote addresses, seminars and workshops.
Our inaugural symposium in 2015 attracted 230 primary and secondary teachers, scientists, researchers, community leaders and the general public. This year we hope to attract over 300 keen and curious citizens. We plan to make this symposium accessible to as many people as possible by keeping the registration fees affordable yet offering a memorable experience in a great setting.
We look forward to welcoming you and many other curious citizens to Te Puke in November.
